Frank Ndudzo is pursuing a Master of Philosophy in Earth Sciences at the University of Western Australia, supervised by Professor Tony Kemp. His research focuses on the Expression of Li-Cs-Ta pegmatites in the Critical Zone.
A registered Professional Natural Scientist (Pr.Sci.Nat.) with SACNASP, Frank has over four years of mineral exploration experience across Africa. He has worked on LCT pegmatite systems with Li3 in Zimbabwe’s Mutare Greenstone Belt and with Rio Tinto in Rwanda. His expertise includes project management, drill rig supervision, core logging, and geophysical surveys, supported by proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, and Geosoft.
Frank holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Geology from the University of Fort Hare, where his research examined kaolin deposits through integrated geological and geophysical methods. He also has experience teaching geology and geography at the university level.
At UWA, Frank aims to provide insights into the formation and distribution of critical metal-bearing pegmatites, enhancing exploration strategies for resources vital to the global energy transition.
